Rutherglen 900 - A Rutherglen Parade

Rutherglen Exchange is proud to support the town’s landmark Rutherglen 900 celebrations, including the upcoming Striding the Streets community parade and Party in the Park on Saturday 13 June 2026. This major daytime event will bring together local groups, schools, performers and families for a vibrant celebration of Rutherglen’s heritage. The parade will make its way into Overton Park at 2pm, followed by an afternoon of live music, dance, performance and community activities from 2.45pm–5pm. As part of our ongoing commitment to championing community events, Rutherglen Exchange is helping promote the celebrations across the centre and online so residents and visitors can enjoy everything happening throughout this milestone year.
