No Mow May

Rutherglen Exchange Shopping Centre is proud to support No Mow May, joining a national movement that highlights the importance of pollinators and the small actions that help biodiversity thrive. As a community shopping centre, we’re in a strong position to amplify messages that matter locally. No Mow May encourages people to pause routine mowing, allow wildflowers to flourish and create vital foraging space for bees and butterflies…simple steps that collectively strengthen our ecosystems 🐝 This year, we’re celebrating the brilliant contributions of our community partners. A special thank you to Home Bargains, whose seasonal ranges make it easier for families to get involved, and to Healthy n Happy Community Development Trust, who will be supporting awareness throughout the month. We’re also delighted to showcase the creativity of the children at Little Pets Nursery in Rutherglen, who are producing their very own “A Place for a Pollinator” artwork which is a wonderful way to help young people understand the role bees and butterflies play in our environment.
